Isagenix® Propels Couple Off “Hamster Wheel”

No matter how hard Madeleine pushed her career as an interior designer and her husband Eddy worked as a teacher and music director, the couple could never seem to get ahead.

“We were both running like a ‘hamster on a wheel’ and could not upgrade our life no matter how hard we pushed,” remembers Eddy.

Neither would have guessed that Isagenix® would be their ticket out of a cramped 1,300 square-foot house in Southern California into a spacious 5,600 square-foot dream home in Colorado.

After seeing a close friend experience incredible health and weight-loss results with Isagenix, Madeleine was gung-ho to try the products, but quickly turned a deaf ear to the business side. A previous experience with another network marketing company had left her with negative feelings about the industry and she wasn’t ready to go through the same thing again.
Her attitude soon changed after she lost 20 pounds* and Eddy lost 40 pounds* with the products. People began flooding them with inquiries about Isagenix.

“Everyone wanted to know about it. We kept receiving money from Isagenix and we weren’t even really doing anything but sharing our story,” says Madeleine. “At that point, we decided we should find out how this business works.”

Madeleine sheepishly called up her friend, who’s now an Isagenix Millionaire, and watched as she worked her business. The pair decided to keep Eddy’s income for the interim and Madeleine worked as an interior designer part-time until she could create a full-time income with Isagenix. From the beginning, the savvy couple knew they couldn’t succeed if it wasn’t a mutual partnership between the entire family, which included their now teenaged triplets.

“It was a little rough at first as I would see Madeleine for fleeting moments before she would go into her office,” says Eddy. “I took care of the kids, but we also shared with them what our dream was and got them on board.”

Those sacrifices paid off, as their success came quickly. Within eight months, Madeleine had doubled Eddy’s salary and a few months later, even quadrupled it.** She retired Eddy from his teaching career and he joined Madeleine in the business full time. Eddy has especially been wowed by the concept of residual income.

“It’s so different than every other job I’ve ever had. At my other jobs, you work hard, get health benefits and might get a two- to three-percent raise if you’re lucky,” shares Eddy. “With network marketing and Isagenix, you’re pushing forward for a little while and then all of a sudden your income becomes exponential.”

The couple’s success also gave the family the freedom they’d always dreamed of to move to Colorado in 2007. Now living in their dream home, the couple’s six-figure income** has allowed them to send their kids to band and cheer camps, take all three on fun family vacations, and give them opportunities that were perpetually pushed aside while they were “hamsters on a wheel.” Eddy even recently returned to teaching not because he has to for the money, but because of his passion for the profession.

Madeleine is proud of her family’s accomplishments with Isagenix and says she’s still striving to grow their business. She looks back and reflects that the journey to where they are now has been worth it.

“We used to come home exhausted every day and didn’t have a future,” shares Madeleine. “With Isagenix, we now have a future for ourselves and for the people on our team. It feels so good to be helping so many others accomplish their dreams, too.”
